No to your first question, while Braun has tremendous power and hits a great offensive lineup, so does Hamilton. Hamilton's numbers maybe a little low compared to last years, but Braun has played in 13 more games than Hamilton and only has 3 more home runs, 10 more RBIs he has scored a lot more runs and is hitting for a much higher batting average, but Hamiltons avg. will come up. As for adding in Rollins yes he's having a horrible season (it's no longer a start to the season in mid May) but he's too good of a player to not come out of it (he's already starting to with 3 multi hit games in his last 4 and an 8 game hitting streak). Besides I've never been a big fan of 2 for 1 player deals.

As for your second question if you need the reliever than there's no harm in trading Pedroia if Broxton is he's best closer, if not then I'd suggest trading for the other team's best closer. Brian Roberts is a very serviceable 2nd baseman so it's not a bad trade.

No, I would not do either of those trades. Dustin Pedroia is last year's AL MVP! Broxton is only a closer, and Pedroia is worth much more than that. Hamilton and Rollins are two great players, and even though they're off to slow starts, I would think that they will heat up pretty soon. Braun is good, but I think you could probably get more than just Braun if you are going to trade Rollins and Hamilton. I would not do either of those, and if you really need a Relief Pitcher, try trading one of your not as good players. Hope this helps, and good luck!

You'd be paying a pretty high price for Broxton if you give up Pedroia. Pedroia's value is in the tank at the moment (by his standards) but he should dig himself out of it as the season goes on. One thing about Broxton though is that he's a K machine and he'll give you more K's from the closer role than quite a few starting pitchers. If saves are a need I'd maybe make that trade. Be extra careful though if the person you're trading with is a contender and is hard up for a 2B. Because you have Hill I'd probably do it. On the other hand I like Pedroia because he's a doubles hitter and I always like to build my team around the doubles stat. Aaron Hill is the stud of the waiver wire pickups so far this year but it wouldn't hurt to hang on to Pedroia if you decide to.

As for Hamilton and Rollins for Braun? Don't do it. Hamilton got hurt but he's also starting to heat up. When Hamilton's healthy and swinging the bat like he's capable, he's equal to Braun. I'd look at that trade as just giving up Rollins for nothing. Rollins isn't doing too well so far but the fantasy ball pool at the SS position is pretty shallow. Stand pat on the Rollins/Hamilton/Braun trade.

First do nott tradeHamiltonn and rollins for braun. Braun is good but you are giving up to much.Hamilton aRollinsons will hit and give you a lot of points.

Don'tont trade dustin for broxton. Broxton is just a closer, and Dustin hits the ball for the Red Sox every game they play.

For relief pitchers look for closers only because other relief pitchers might only pitch once and closers might pitch once during a week but they might get a save which is 10 points.Pick up brain roberts

Well I don't know about the first trade who do you have that would take Jimmy Rollins at shortstop, however I do think that the second trade would be a good move Jonathan Broxton is a quality Relief pitcher for a team that should get a good amount of save chances.

To recap my advice if you have a good backup such as a JJ Hardy or Jason Bartlet type of player at shortstop then getting Braun would be a great addition for your team. Good luck

I wouldn't trade Hamilton and Rollins for Braun, unless you have a great SS as backup. I think Hamilton and Rollins will get it rolling real quick.

Broxton is a top 3 closer. I think I would do that trade, and make sure you grab Roberts.

I'm down on hamilton and rollins but it's still a lot to give up for braun and i think pedroia can get you any closer so i would go for k-rod but if you like broxton go for it.

pull the trigger on pedroia for broxton....pedroia has decent fantasy numbers but they aren't anything special. I'd say no to j roll and hamilton for ryan braun .......josh hamilton has been hurt with a rib cage injury most of the season and is finally over it so his numbers should improve. besides that he's a freak of nature talent wise and so he'll be ok.
