What is the best AT&T cell phone for only voice and messaging?
I've used the mobile internet, but haven't been excited by it. I want a good phone where I don't have to subscribe to the mobile internet service and not worry about surprise data usage charges popping up. I like the touch screens - qwerty keypad is a plus.

I'd go with the Samsung Impresson or the LG Xenon. They are both regular voice and messaging phones which don't require data unless you choose to have it added on. They both are thouch screen phones which slide out with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung impression is my personal favorite but you should go and check they out. The Impression runs for $249.99 with a $50. And they Xenon runs for $149.99 with a $50 rebate.
EDIT: Suprise data charges wont happene unless you go on the internet or send pictures, audio, or video without unlimited text messaging plan, or anything involving internet where the MEdia net symbol will appear at the top. Then you will be charged with data.
