Obama says that the US economy in getting back to normal!?

If that is true and they have only spent 10% of the tarp fund, does that prove that they jumped the gun on borrowing our kids futures down the river. Also will they give the money back and negate the huge debt we are facing.... And i already know bush started this , but Obama put it into overdrive!!!

Update:

Go to Google news, Obama thinks it getting better! But then again he lives of the tax payers dime so what would he know!

Update 2:

I didnt say bush was the reason the economy failed, what i meant was he started the tarp funds, and obama tripled it

He's obviously not trying to sell a house.

Actually Clinton started this with his brilliant idea that banks should give loans to people who cannot possibly pay them back. That set up the housing market and the banks both for a bubble burst, Bush just happened to be in office when the chips started falling. Obama has done nothing constructive, at all.

No, the economy is not in recovery. With just one example that I can think of immediately, if GM files bankruptcy next month, the unemployment rate is going to skyrocket. Not only putting all of their employees out of work, but all of those businesses dependent upon GM staying in business, not closing plants, etc.

Obama doesn't have a clue how the free market works and doesn't want to. He wants the government to run the car industry (that way they can tell us what kinds of cars we will drive), they are already trying to get themselves into the banking business and it's just a matter of time before everything is state or government run. Welcome to the NEW WORLD ORDER! We're toast.

well, seeing as unemployement is still way off balance, and most of the money didn't even go to those communities most hit by unemployment, i would argue that he did nothing.

Also, i dont think the economy is "getting back to normal". At least not from what i see congress trying to do. Actually i'm not entirely sure what they are trying to do, and that just scares me.

Really? I haven't noticed any evidence of normal.

Wonder why AMEX would lay off 4000 people if thing were normal.

Among the million other companies cutting back.

He's a optimist but I've seen and experienced struggle. It may continue for a while.

first off, its Carter's fault not Bush's and second, Obama's not telling the truth

So maybe that means he is going to repeal the rest of TARP and the stimulus bill?

Should we be holding our breath?

we have to just wait and hope for the best....it won't be so noticeable yet, anything could seem good or bad right now!

cali is falling the most because we have a paid actor as a gov that put a billion in debt...things do seem a little terrible right now!
