I need help starting off my essay. If you could please help me?

You can either introduce him first:

Khaled Hossein was a great author who....

Or you can gradually put him in:

There are many authors but...

or

Throughout the space of literature history, there have been many great (substitute *great* for another word, teachers are always impressed with extensive vocabulary) authors. Just one of them is....

or

When someone mentions an author it is tipically Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, or more modernly, Stephenie Meyer. However, ....

Lol i hope this helps... im only in junior high after all... and, ive never heard of khaled so... it prbly wouldve been better if i knew about his works etc lol

Khaled Hosseini is an American novelist and physician originally from Afghanistan. One of his books "The Kite Runner" was an international bestseller. When Khaled Hosseini was a child, he read a great deal of Persian poetry. He has written two books that have (yadadadada). Then the last paragraph.

Something like that. Blend it a bit better and I think your good.

You could say something like "Khaled Hosseini is a great author regarded by many people" or "Do you know who Khaled Hosseini is?" or something like that.

A wise man once said: "Live the life you love, love the life you live." Khaled Hosseini truly is a testament to this quote through his......... (and so on and so forth)

Well you can start off with his accomplishments.

Ex.

A two time Emmy winner of the famous novel Kite Runner ETC

Um.. Or just state some fact about him/her. That's how I usually start off my essays. Or I put in a statement.

Are you like writing a biography

if you are you should start his 1st stage of life.....Childhood

where he was born

what school did he go

like a time line

you should create a time line and write the imported things in his life like his awards
