Is it true, we are what we do?

To others we are what we do and what we say ... to ourselfs we are what we do, what we say and what we think ... no one can read our thoughts, so the amount we put into words for others to hear becomes part of who we are....

So the question becomes, are we as others see us, as we see ourselfs, or some kind of strange combination of the two?
