can you paint your xbox 360 with regular artists paint?

What kind or 'artist paint' is it? Watercolors? Acrylics? Oils?

You need to prime your surface first. I recommend spray paints like Krylon or airbrushing. Watercolors are impossible to work with unless you've used them before. Oils are expensive and acrylics are temperamental if you've never used them before, though they will work the best if you actually want to paint instead of spray.

NOO dont do that because the heat developed by the console makes the paint chip away...sometimes it even chips away the factory painting so dont do it unless u want a Frankenstein 360

it depends on the paint type, a water colour might not be all that good for plastic and oil based won't work on anything but wood, acrylic based paints are your safest bet. just seal up all openings as a precaution.

If you keep the xbox ventilated (room to breathe out the back) it should never get too hot to melt the paint.
