Why does Keith Olbermann now call Bill O'Reilly "Skeezix"?
Recently, I've noticed that on his MSNBC program "Countdown," Keith Olbermann, who used to refer to Bill O'Reilly, a commentator on rival cable news network Fox News Channel, as "Bill-O The Clown," is now referring to him as "Skeezix" - and only "Skeezix". Olbermann hasn't even used the name "Bill" in talking about him.
Incidentally, over the past couple of weeks, I've also noticed that the parent company of MSNBC, GE - which O'Reilly regularly lambasts on his program - is now an advertiser on Fox News Channel shows, most notably, "The O'Reilly Factor". Is GE's advertising buy on Fox News presenting a sort of conflict of interest for Olbermann, as it may be a contributing factor (no pun intended) to him now referring to his primetime cable news arch-nemesis by invoking the name of a character from the "Gasoline Alley" comic strip?

Olbermann is nothing more than an "entertainer". His political commentary has no real content - and although he tries hard to be a comedian - he comes across as nothing more than an idiot. His style failed at ESPN and seemingly is failing at MSNBC (per the ratings).
Sorry - that really didn't answer your question.

Olbermann is such a hateful, anger-incitnig jerk. His show is simply a joke...he has nothing better to do than make personally insulting comments about conservative politicians and news hosts.
His ratings are also less than 1/2 of O'Reilly's.

MSNBC is getting killed in the ratings by Fox News and O'Reilly. This is making blowhard liberals like Olbermann try to gain attention by using hate speech and slander.

It is pretty comical to see Olbermann just harp on and on and on about Fox, O'reilly, Bush, CHeney and Republicans in general. That camera is always WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY zoomed in to focus on his facial expressions too. The way he seems sooooooooooo serious and thoughful.

I've been wondering about the new nickname, too. I don't have an answer, but boy does Keith Olbermann crack me up. He's not as level-headed and even-handed as Rachel Maddow or Jon Stewart, but he's fun to watch.

Well calling him "bill o" wasn't working, just look at Olbermanns ratings.

MSLSD ("The Place for Politics") is the television equivalent of the National Enquirer.
