about free india? where is right of equality? where is right of freedom?We are the team leaders of First responder team to an emergency!Where we have to respond in one minute,where your life in crises is at stake on our split second decision and action which we lead from front.Many times we have to take leave to complete our sleep! Yes I am telling you about the post of Station officer in Delhi Fire Service,as we work 72 hours continuously after which we get 24 Hours rest.Govt. is def to our representation,as we want 100% efficiency during various operations i.e. fire calls,rescue calls(house collapse,road accidents,drowning rescue,etc.) to save the endangered life of people .Although the occupational health hazards are Integrated part of our life,but they are many time increased due to long working hours.

Ya sometimes some people have to work its not by force but by the oath of responsibility they have taken..... its very common in urgencies theres nothing new for any of the country and it happens in each and every country

Now that the liberals are doing whatever they want, it won't be long before we're all in that boat.
It will start out nice, but once the government decides that it can't afford to let us work only 40 hours per week, we'll all be working long shifts with no weekends.

Government empoyees in the US should have to work that much (elected officials) maybe then they can get something done besides interviewing on the news and bickering with their rivals about pointless things. you see that congress is on another break now

Gee, that's what firemen, ER doctors, and military personnel do all over the world. There is nothing unusual about it whatsoever. It is the nature of the job.
