moto2 oversubscription..?
it seems the new Moto2 class, is oversubscribed, i must admit to being wrong as i couldn't see the point in this 'spec engined' class but their are over 40 entries for a 32/34 bike grid....does this mean a mass exodus from the Moto Gp class...i hope not ..does anyone have any thoughts..?.....<^><..
hi Ben 19..you make an excellent point about it turning into an enginneers trophy, ever since it was announced as single engined i've been wondering what the real objective of the class is..

Hi Cadalora. I have to confess to not hearing any figures as of yet. But im assuming that this figure will be including hopefulls as well as real entrants. it wil all come down to how many engines Honda are willing to supply. also assuming these engines have to be redeigned and built from scratch. (new casings and top end etc)
I still think it could end up being an engineers trophy. with the riders being so closely matched I think who ever gets the right balance first is going to walk away with it. proving the point alike bikes does not bring close racing. I see Moriwaki have set the benchmark by running their model.
I dont think there will be a mass exodus from GP (though I am curious to see if it tempts Rossi into maybe trying for 2 titles in a season. {fast freddie style})
Another assault on Ago's records too perhaps ??
I think there is enough talent already waiting for a chance to jump into GP. most from 250 obviously. but also WSBK WSS etc. maybe even from Japan with any luck. Im sure whatever happens it will suit Scott Redding.

It seems a bit crowded, as you said.
Pehaps Ãt´s not an exodus from MotoGP
For me Moto2 is a class quite attractive for teams willing
to enter MotoGP, but without paying the huge extry fee.
