cookouts? parades? going to the lake if it's warm enough? other? what are you all doing?

me: i'm watching the Lowe's race and the Indy 500 on Sunday. i'm catching the nationwide race tomorrow. 

i have off of work (maybe because me phone will be shutoff, and i don't won't to work on Monday). i'm going to the parade, but i don't have to go too far as the parade goes right by my apartment, but a big tree is in front of my patio, so i must go out by the sidewalk and get a good seat. i'm also having a cookout and later on i'll have me yet another Nascar dvd mini marathon and watch a few old Nascar races on DVD. this years Talladega will be first to watch followed by Daytona 500 2007. then i'll watch the Phoenix race that Mark Martin just won at. i'm also going to watch last years Watkins Glen race and the Dover 2007 race in which we saw Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart get into each other that put Kurt's day parked for the day.

so i'm good for the Memorial Day weekend.

Cookout on Monday.  Tonight the kids have a play which I will be attending...I had to make cookies.     Tomorrow my neices bridal shower and I have to make a salad. Then the second night of the play. I have to make cookies.
Sunday is breakfast at dad's, church and finally relaxation before the race.  
Somehow in there I need to get my garden planted!!!

All family coming over on Monday for parade and cookout!

Rain or shine, Saturday, I will complete the engine change in my VW, which will put me a the back of the field (driveway), but still get to make the show (work) as an owner/driver. LOL

When the kid gets home from work, I will take her to Wallyworld for a four tire stop (she cut a tire down yesterday and is now on a donut & the fronts are starting to separate). ROFLMAO

Sunday is race day, what do you think I'll be doing? Cooking and watching the race. Country style pork ribs, country style home fries, green bean cassarole, with  blueberry shortcakes for dessert. Of course it all has to be done before the green drops, so I don't miss a second of quality racing at the biggest short track on the circuit. Oh, and let's not forget to have a few "adult" beverages before, during and after the cooking and racing.

Working all weekend. That is what i get for working at a huge resort. My ex has the kids because my schedule is so screwy- tonight form 4 to midnight tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 4:30 and Sunday and MOnday 9:30 to 5:30. At least i will get to see the race

Trying to re-coup from Sunday, Monaco comes on at 4:30 am out here in Calif, then its the Indy 500, then the Coca Cola 600, I'm gonna be exhausted, but we are having a BBQ all day long at my place on Sunday.. So on Monday I'm gonna rest, enjoy a couple Margaritas and just chill out.

i'll be free on saturday as far as i know (who knows what the wife has instor for me ) sunday  wife cousin cook out so i'll be watching races inbetween everything going
