I believe in evolution but why do all YA believers say there?

Ah, that is the core of scientific principle. In science, there is permanent open mindedness. That means always being open to new information, so nothing can be assumed to be proven 100%. Science doesn't do 'proofs', it does validation.

A theory will make predictions, and is tested against evidence. This evidence will either validate it or refute it. The more validation, the better accepted, while refutation means back to the drawing board or abandonment.

Theories like evolution, gravity, electromagnetism, etc. are very well validated and accepted, but science will never call any of them proven. However, to date there is absolutely no evidence to even test the existence of gods, so this idea remains in the same boat as unicorns and pixies.

Thus evolution is well supported by testable evidence, god is not.

There is absolutely no evidence for the existence of any gods. There is plenty of evidence for evolution however.

Evolution is "just a theory" in the same way gravity is "just a theory".

Please read up on what a scientific theory actually means.

Evolution and natural selection are the two best philosophical arguments for the non existence of God. However they can both be challenged by the cosmological argument and the tedeological argument!

ther is allways those fanatics who stick with instant creationism, but most sensible christians specially catholics are believing in theistic evolutionism, (that is God created us by guiding the evolution process he started with the big bang) it's not like he is going to get bored if he doesnt create us instantly, i e he is outside our time flow...
