How do you go about reporting disgusting advertisements on the internet?

I didn't get a computer to have disgusting advertisements shoved in my

face everytime I logged on the internet.

No. Just because you find them disgusting doesn't mean other people do. People like you have censored other media enough, and by God I will not stand if you do the same to the internet. One thing you'll have to learn, and it might sound harsh, is that nobody really cares what you think. It's inconsequential. Unless, of course, you're in a position of power. (I realise I am a hypocrite, and that no-one cares what I think either)

In a strange U-turn of helpfulness, if ads appear without you even opening your browser, that's completely different. Then you have adware. Download and scan your computer with Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoft.com/) and Spybot S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html).

Delete all the cookies on your browser, as well as temporary internet files.

Then go download Malwarebytes, update it and put it on full scan. If you want to take an extra precaution while you're downloading things, get kaspersky as well. Two of the best programs hands down.

Malwarebytes should get rid of your annoying pop-ups. Also, use a browser with anti-pop-up such as Mozilla Firefox.

Doing those steps will almost guarantee no more disgusting pop-ups (Until your boyfriend or husband looks at porn again and you get them again)

    Hope this answers your question!

    Cheers.

Are you getting ads on your desktop, before you even touch the internet??? If you are then you have a virus. Try avast.com or avira.com and use there free antivirus programs. Both work good and I have tried them. But only use one at a time, installing two antiviruses on a computer slows it down alot.

Mostly you just don't go to pages that show them.

If they pop up on their own, you might have a virus. Get someone who knows about computers to clean up your computer for you, and spend some time learning about computer security. Also use a secure browser.

If they are coming in as pop up activate your pop up blocker ( on you browser) and that gives you a choice to allow or disallow? Delete you browsing history and temp internet files etc.

What do you mean by 'disgusting''?

Maybe you should use a pop-up blocker if you're talking about windows popping up with adverts in.

You have a virus on your computer. You need a good anti virus. You can report it if you want...nobody will care (unfortunately)
