Bush said he did it for attention, I do not think so the man was very upset so I was wondering what he was yelling.

In many middle eastern countries, showing the sole of your shoe is very disrespectful because its thought of as trash: it drags along the ground etc. It is even impolite to sit with your legs crossed because you would be showing someone the sole of your shoe.
By throwing his shoes at Bush, he was showing disrespect and disapproval.

He was probably telling Bush to piss off... although he should have THANKED Bush for getting rid of Saddam, ushering in the freedom to be able to throw his shoes without being killed for it.

First of all the word is threw not through. He was yelling, "lachht dosa dem mahaba do da dey mahkhabearna umka nambaman duh de err umm hahg achhx". I don't know what it means but he seemed to know and was sure about what he had to say.

Considering that he missed twice...I would guess that he was saying Iraqis aren't quite ready to defend themselves yet.
