things that make you go hum?

what do you think would have happened if obama and McCain had tied for the presidency. it could have happened and obama would have been pres. and palin would have been vice pres. anybody else think that would have been interesting

Update:

yes there can be a tie. if you had watched the elec. coverage they talked about it the senate would decide the pres. dems were in control house would decide the vice pres the rep. were in control at the time. very unlikely but possible in theory

Heheheheheeee! This is the funniest question and the most convoluted thinking I've ever seen on here. There can be no tie and you can't have a vice president from a different party than the president unless the president selects him or her. The vice president isn't elected in a primary or an election. The vice president serves at the will of the president. He can be fired at any time by the president.

    Huh?

No, it wouldn't happen that there would be a tie.

Had there been, there's no reason to say Obama would have been prez and Palin VP -- that makes no sense.

But given the lack of power of the VP, I don't see how anything would be different if your two absurd notions had happened.
