11 months post C-Section, bleeding after exercise?

I've had 4 C-Sections, the last one 11 months ago along with a tubal ligation. I have been breastfeeding the baby and he's down to a morning and night feeding only. My menstrual cycle return 9 months post partum, and has been every 21 days, instead of 28. I started exercising about that time and everytime I do a heavy workout (lots of abs, running 3 + miles) I bleed. The discharge is red, so I know it's from the uterus...not a tear or anything. Does this mean it's too soon to be working out so strenuously? I love the results I'm getting, so I really don't want to slow down on the workouts, but with all the kids, I definantly cannot afford to hurt myself. There is no pain with bleeding. Anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would venture to guess this is your body's way of saying it's not quite ready for such a heavy workout. I would slow it down a bit and be a little less strenuous with your workouts and gradually increase your workouts again. If the bleeding continues after you slow down, it would probably be a good idea to go get checked out again just to ensure it's not your incision bleeding from the inside...

You need to go to a doctor. It sounds like internal bleeding or you rip something each time you exercise. Its best to see a doctor and seek their advice at what you should do.
