11 months after c-section, bleeding after exercise?

I've had 4 C-Sections, the last one 11 months ago along with a tubal ligation. I have been breastfeeding the baby and he's down to a morning and night feeding only. My menstrual cycle return 9 months post partum, and has been every 21 days, instead of 28. I started exercising about that time and everytime I do a heavy workout (lots of abs, running 3 + miles) I bleed. The discharge is red, so I know it's from the uterus...not a tear or anything. Does this mean it's too soon to be working out so strenuously? I love the results I'm getting, so I really don't want to slow down on the workouts, but with all the kids, I definantly cannot afford to hurt myself. There is no pain with bleeding. Anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Reposting this question because I only got 1 answer last time! Hoping for more input this time! :)

Sorry To Say This Girl Its Not The Running That Is Making This Happen Its The Ab Crunches you might want to try a less Strenuous Ab Crunch Like The Ball Crunches And You Might want to cut the work out down by half just for now to see if anything changes for the better if it doesn't you might need to go back to your doctor because There might be internal bleeding that you are not aware of. I Have Had 2 C-sections done and my last one changed my regular monthly flow also and then the dischargeing started when it was not supose to so i went back and got told they needed to open me back up because my stomach muscles were all messed up and now i have no feeling where they re-opened me so take it easy

you're able to desire to pass to a doctor. It feels like inner bleeding or you rip something every time you exercising. Its superb to work out a doctor and seek for their advice at what you need to do.
