live in Detroit the suburbs are not safe, despite what people will say. It was reported on the news last week that a teacher was trying to have sex with one of his students. Plus the suburbs here in the Metro area have the highest percentage of child predators per sq mile

Let me say this. Yesterday I was at home depot, I parked in front of the garden area because I had to load patio blocks. When I got back someone had ran a shopping cart into my car. There were orange "bruises on my car and two dents on my drivers door.

People here are just HATEFUL for NO reason. Its just getting worse & I can't wait to leave. I'm sick of it. I live in Southfield/Berkley area.

Ypsilanti should avoided it's near ann arbor 10 miles from Detroit or the southeast Ann arbor which is the only bad part of the city but 95% ann arbor is very safe

move to west bloomfield mi, its nice and beautiful and its very comfortiable and nobody will come and try to rob u. its one of the safest cities in mi and its in the suberbs

Ha ha safe and detroit don't belong in the same sentence. But i live in New baltimore(48047) pretty nice there, ummm basically anywhere 10 miles( at least ) out of Detroits way is fine. BUT NOT IN DETROIT!

Check the suburbs. The ENTIRE city is not safe at all
