I would like to hear from those of you who really do remember your birth so that we can compare experiences.?

My first knowledge of this was a swooshing fluid motion over to my right view, and then it occured again. I remember coming out to what I have always called "my first light". I will never forget what I later assume to be the doctor. Big smiling happy smile and eyes with what I learned later to be glasses. He had a shiny bright thing on the top of the left side of his head(my right). I remember him holding me, turning me and my first cry, cutting the cord, and then being eventually transferred to what I assume to be a woman who had something on top of her head. They were all very nice to me and then she took me to what I later assume was a white metal slatted hospital type bassinet. She cleaned me up and put a top on me which covered my fingers, gently put me on my abdomen and gently soothed my back with little pats. I could see to my left side, flat white wrungs of the first little bed type thing. It was a flat yet shiny type white, clean looking, but not totally new, like with a little texture. I remember that shirt that covered up my hands, and I remember something felt like it was on my bottom, but I never saw that. I was wrapped up snugly in a cotton type little blanket. I don't remember seeing that first man again(doctor, I assume) but I was aware of some motion of people in the room where I layed in that bed. Since that experience I have always been keenly aware of smiles. The next I was aware of was being in a silk type cushie quilt type blanket in my (what I find out through experiences) was my Mother. I saw the driveway and the path, and remember having the man with that box(which turned out to be my Father, taking my first remembered photo) He made silly noises and my Mother took the blanket off of my face just before the assumed picture was taken. I saw her beautiful smile at that moment and she was always so nice and beautiful. Loving. Oh, in the womb..I may have forgotten to mention, that the wet in there had a swoosh swoosh gentle peaceful noise. No pain and very comfortable, the whole experience. There was no pain going out the shoot to my first light. . Beautiful. These facts have never changed. Thank you.

Update:

One more thing to say is to please be loving and good to your children because there are some of us who remember. My experience was beautiful and that will remain with me forever, just as I suppose a bad experience would have. I always thought that remembering this was a normal thing, because why would I think differently? As I've grown up I believe that I have a photographic memory which probably helped me to remember much of this. I am also artistic so I believe this makes the picture fit better. I remember soooooo very much of my childhood, and could draw the floor plan of that house were we lived until I was three yrs old. It might be amazing but to me it is very normal, it is my life. It also doesn't down grade my thoughts if someone may not believe it. I have nothing to proove to anyone about this. Again, thanks

Update 2:

I suggest if you go to Google and type in Eidetic Memory. You can go to Wikipedia or one of those sites, and read about it for yourself. Just because you might not remember that far back doesn't mean it doesn't happen. If you want a closed mind, that is your choice. People who say ALWAYS or NEVER so easily are limiting their own knowledge. Not everything is so cut and dry. I agree it doesn't probably happen very often but I KNOW it sure can. Look up Eidetic Memory before you start sounding ignorant.

Thanks

When I was younger (and I can still remember it) I'd had these "flashbacks" or dreams or something which I always wondered if what I was seeing were snippets of when I was born, I couldn't go into great detail and as I said I may have dreamt it or even imagined it, but I find it interesting to hear you describe what you say was your own birth experience. I too have a ridiculously good memory (well I did before I had my daughter lol) and surprised my mother on many occasions when I was younger, as I remembered things like my cot, a lady that came over to our house once when I was under 2 years old and so on.

Thats not true. newborns cant see very well so your descriptions are lies. and babys dont have the brain develoment to remember a whole scene of their birth to adult hood.
