I found these old letters and new papers and books in the?

attic from around the 1860s. and early 1900s. Some are advertisements and some are letters from someone to their father.

Some of them are newspapers that are people writing about joining the Abolition Raid. etc.

There is also a bunch of documents about bids for postal routes etc.

There is also a blank document from Crosby's Opera House Art Association.

How do I find if they are worth anything?

Update:

Some of them are sti in the envelops with stamps and post marks on them and in relatively decent condition considering wat they must have gone through.

Update 2:

forgive th etypo neabt Newspapers

Update 3:

OMG I can't type today at all.

*Forgive the typos.

oh wow, they might be worth something.. idk about the advertisements though. bring them to some sort of researcher or someting. Or maybe just someone that knows alot about history. Perhaps a museum? Sry, I'm not a pro at this..

Especially the stamps could be quite valuable. Ask a philatelist

Contact an antique book dealer. If they can't do an appraisal they might know someone who can.
