Can I use new SIM card to unlock my mobile telephone?

Question

Mine is Samsung SGH A800. I have changed many SIM cards in this phone. As the power completely consumed, I have recharged the power and started it. It asks SIM lock password. The previous password is not working and it still remains locked. Can I make the phone work by a new SIM card? Will it ask SIM lock password again?

I have used PUK numbers but it's not working.

that happened to me.. if you try the password so many times that it doesnt offer an option to write in the code.. u will have 2 get a new phone.

if you can still enter it - ring up the phone company that ur mobile is with and they will tell u the code to unlock your phone :)

The SIM card will only transfer the phone numbers that are saved to it
