And you're right, Adam will do better with more room to do the kind of music he wants, which he couldn't with American Idol.

I agree; I voted for Kris knowing that Adam was the better vocalist and has a career ahead of him regardless of the outcome. I loved Kris' music from early on and did not believe he would win but wanted him to so that he would gain confidence and have the jump start that winning AI would offer him. I do not believe Adam needed the jump start. Winning is not always the best thing for the best performer, as you then have to provide AI with a portion of your earnings over the next year and are bound by a contract dictating what and when you can sing, leaving you restricted in artistic freedom. Adam certainly did not need that, he is the most artistic we've had on the show and needs to be able to be untethered. Kris was by far the better choice for my vote and will more than likely be the artist who's music I choose to purchase.
