What is needed to use a T.V. as a computer monitor?

I have an older, non digital T.V. I have a Netflix subscription which allows me to watch movies. I'd like to connect my laptop to the T.V. to have a larger screen to view them. The T.V. has an S Video jack. What do I need to do this?

A video card that has an s-video output jack and a s-video cable or a cable that adapts the output of your computer (probably vga) to s-video.

if your comp has a component output ( rca jack) you can buy a component to svideo adapter, cables to go, or even radio shack sells them
