How much does it cost to send in my 360 to microsoft?
i got my xbox 360 on January 3, 2007. and i got the 3 red lights. i heard from some people that with 3 red lights you can send it in for free. is that true?
also, if i bought a 360 today could i still get the red ring of death? because i read somewhere that they use new technology that never gets the red ring of death now. so can you still get the red ring of death from a brand new xbox?

Trust me on this i have sent my xbox 360 in 3 times. No matter what if you have the three red rings of death they will give you a new or refurbrished 360 free with free shipping and handling. And as for the newer 360's i am not sure whether or not they are death-proof but like i said i have sent in my 360 three times my latest being about 3 months ago so good luck and the process usually takes about 1 month and all you get is we sorry and one month xbox live card for your troubles.

Go to the Xbox Website, and go to the forums and find where it talks about the red ring of death then Microsoft will send a box TO YOU to ship it back to them.
It's free, And takes around a week to get fixed.
