Have you ever visited another section of Yahoo! Answers, only to find it overrun by teenagers/preteens...?

... and then, after running back here for sure safety from the overwhelming illogic and self-centeredness of the entire community there, you see a question like this...?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuG3d...

It just happened to me.

╔═════════════════════════════════════

║Those who regard a freedom from the false morals and obsolete

║practices regarding sex or religion as debauched are doing naught

║but corrupting their minds with foolishness.

║My morals come from compassion; my compassion from

║understanding. And I seek to know and understand... everything.

Update:

"how dare I" - I feel for you.

LOL yes! I swear, the other day I played hooky in P&S and a girl posted a question...and deliberately misspelled every single word in it. Hold on a sec, let me see if I can find it....

Here...oh, I wanted to strangle her and all of her teachers.

I'm a TC in 'Woman's Health'... some of the questions are downright horrific in their ignorance. "Can I get pregnant from anal sex?" "If I skip my birth control for two weeks then take them all, will I still be protected from pregnancy?" Argh. And then there's the answers from immature teens, who reply to someone's question about a personal subject with "EWWWWWWWWWWW". Yeah, that's helpful.

On the flip side, the teenagers are a step up from the crazed basement-dwellers who came out of the woodwork to overtake the Politics section as soon as Obama showed up on the political scene.

I really don't like this category, I usually run the the food category. I go to the teen & preteen/adolescent category, it's like secondary school all over again. It's so cliquey it's unbelievable. I am around those girls/guys age and I can't stand being there..... plus they give the worse kind of advice too. Encouraging 14 yo to have sex and all that palaver. It's ridiculous.

I spent 5 minutes in some of the friends / dating type sections, but I couldn't stand it. There all, "my boyfriend/girlfriend dumped me and I still love him/her" over and over again. Books and authors has a huge amount of kids and most of them respond to every question "have you tried the Twilight Saga? It's the best book EVER". It's starting to calm down, but it gets very annoying - especially when the question is about 18th century Russian literature....

Oh, yeah....check out mens health. I'm not sure if it's sad or entertaining.

I know what you mean. It's bad enough here as it is with all the false religious nutjob cults harping down your every word, but then when you go to other areas, except like home improvement, garden, stuff like that, you get a bunch of adolescent ditzoids with their mindless pre-teen and silly-teen jibberish.

There's got to be a better forum and esp. that doesn't suspend accounts based on false accusations and a faulty reporting system with behind the scene/forum staff who pose as members on the forum.

I don't know, some of the so called "adults" on here are just as bad if not worse then some of the teenagers.

Anyway, she probably wandered over from the homework or music section and is now lost in the depths of S&C/R&S.

I sometimes venture into Politics and Government. That section has been overrun by bitter Republicans with stale agendas.

    1. I see no problem with being selfish.

    2. I'm 16

    3. And I can honestly say 98% of my peers are close-minded morons.

    4. I'm not sure what my point is. Huh?

    5. Yeah it is a bit sad though.

Alas this section is also being overrun by preteens, as evidenced by all the "spiritually speaking" polls that really have squat to do with spirituality.

In defence of teenagers, here's a smart one:
