I need some help I'm not all that good at geography.?

All the following are examples of population distribution, EXCEPT __________.

a) The median age of the American population will be 30 in 1981.

b) Africa has 29 people per square mile.

c) The United States has one-fourth of the world's coal supply within its borders.

d) The population of the United States is around 225 million people.

e) Japan has 764 people per square mile while the United States has only 54 people per square miles.

    I would say a. because it talks about median age not population distribution

    stop and think about the question for a second,

    It is asking for examples of 'population distribution'. What is that?

    then think about your possible answers. 4 of them talk about how many people, or how much of a resource there is in a given area. The last option talks about a person's age at a specific point in time.

    None of these options has any thing to do with 'geography'... Read the question again, and think it through, and you should be able to come to the right answer...

    The key is to understand the question. You are talking about "population distribution" which relates to the numbers of people in a given area of land.

    One of these things is not like the other....
