In buying hardwood flooring is there a brand that gives primarily longer length strips?

I've been shopping for pre-finished hardwood flooring (red oak) and was told by an installer that the boxes they are delivered in have quite a few short pieces. Is there a brand that favors longer strips?

No this this all by chance when you buy a random length hardwood. And most all hard wood come in random lengths in their boxes.

Now if you get a engineered wood, the specs will tell you what lengths they ll come in.

In hard wood the longer lengths will have more warping and hard to install.

I ve had boxes that give a few more pcs of short lengths , but this a one more reason you work from several boxes at once and attempt to ( as your laying out the flooring) use these shorter pcs as cuts and starter pc for a totally random and better looking floor.

I have installed a few different brands and most tend to come in about 3 or 4 different lengths.Haven't found one that comes in longer lengths as a majority or at least I haven't noticed. One thing I have noticed is the longer lengths seem to have more flaws and seem to bow more.I prefer ones that are maybe 2 to 3 feet.To me they are easier to set in place and install.
