Windows 7 Drivers for Compaq c700?
Any body have any idea about Windows 7 drivers for Compaq C700 laptops.
They were designed for Vista and officially only the Vista drivers are available.

Basically windows contains the necessary drivers in it.I installed in lot of laps it didn't asked drivers.So try that.
There is no official drivers released for windows7.It will releas after the official release of windows7.

Well some Vista drivers work on some builds of Windows 7. What drivers in particular were you looking for? Sound, video, usb mouse, etc...? Also, what build of Windows 7 are you using? If you would like some further help with you can message me on here or add me to Yahoo Messenger. I don't guarantee that I can get you drivers but I can sure as hell try for you.

Great question buddy. Here is what i did on my laptop. install picasa 3 . Launch it and near 'import 'icon there are 4 icons horizontally click the last and voila webcam is on. Other applications like skype will recognise the webcam automatically. Or you can purchase easy cam.BUT THE DEFAULT APP WONT WORK AFTER INSTALLING WINDOWS 7.
