Handwritten resume VS. Typed resume?

I am applying for a Vet Assitant job and have to produce a handwritten resume. Is it the same format as a typed resume or is it supposed to be paragraph structured? Is there a sample I could look at?

Update:

They are REQUESTING a handwritten resume. I just need to know what format to use. Thanks :)

Update 2:

They are REQUESTING a handwritten resume. I just need to know what format to use. Thanks :)

Never hand write a resume. If you need a computer most public libraries have some that you can use for free to type your resume. I once worked in an office where one department had all of the hand-written resumes up on a bulletin board for people to laugh at. There was one that was especially bad, it was written in pencil and had they guy's photo stapled to it.

You maybe new to the work force or younger worker who has always used an application to get a job. But there are benefits to making a resume. One, it will set you apart from others who have no resume and only apply when applications are given to them. Two, it shows you are serious enough in your job search to put the effort in to writing a good resume. Three, in the future you will save time by providing in your resume what applications would be asking you anyway and it becomes easier to add new experiences on to an existing resume than starting from scratch. A good ref. would be careerbuilders.com and check out their free resume samples. Good Luck

Do a typed Resume....If you go to Office Depot......Or some place like it.....you can pick up a box that looks like a computer game and it will walk you through it...good luck...hope you get the job!

as long as it's organized and has directional flow, you're good to go :) yes, you can do it the same way as you're used to, but you may find that you have less space now for most of your text if you usually use columns in your layout.

try different ways on different sheets of paper and select your preference for YOUR resume :)

    good luck!
