1978 Dodge RV with 440 V-8. When i come to a stop and then begin to go, it feels like it's going to die?

I can mash the gas pedal to the floor and iti will start to go and then sound like its going to die and the same when i pump the gas. No problems getting past that initial point and speeding up and only happens after it has warmed up. Any Ideas?

Sounds gummed up. RVs sit for a long time and the fuel starts to gum up things.

Add a can of SeaFoam cleaner to your gas tank. It will smoke like crazy for a few miles but it will clean out all that crummy build up in the carb, valves and rejuvenate the fuel. Then add fresh gas.

Boats have the same issue when they sit with out being run.

$8 a can for every 24 gallons of fuel. Wal Mart.
