Why did i need only one factory recovery disc when 2 were furnished to restore my laptop?

Hello, I got a Toshiba A100 laptop with Windows XP that came with 2 discs for restauration (1 of 2 - 2 of 2). I entered the first one and it did the whole job without asking to insert the second one. And my compu works better then ever !

Has anyone had this before and will it kill me ?

Update:

@ chubby d

Thanks, i noticed that i actually have no more games in there, but my concern is that there is DATA config file and .TAF extention files on the disk and it weights 2.95 gigs, there are no command files and remember that it did not ask me to insert the second disk, it actually started Windows after the first one. How would i get it in there, if i ever need it ?

The second disc is most likely has software and programs that aren't necessary to run you computer. Games, etc...

If you go along and try to do something that isn't an everyday function or task, and you suddenly discover that you can't do whatever it is, it is probably on disc 2.

I think one has the restoration and one has the drivers.
