if you are using internet explorer, up in the right hand corner there is a little icon that says "tools" click on it. One of the options is "delete browsing history" when you click this, you can pick what all you would like to delete. Click cookies and there ya go.

If you are not using internet explorer, do a disk cleanup & it should help.

Actually...if you're aiming for speed, i would suggest a disk cleanup anyway. Also, delete any old files that you arent using. All of these will help speed up your computer!!

All those cookies you see are essential..what i mean by that is everytime you open your mail you don't have to retype your information again and again...that is the purpose of a cookie......a tracking cookie will not slow down your computer..they are placed on your computer when you visit a website..and they use that information to see your browsing and surfing habits...do yourself a favor and let me get you educated a little....go to the internet and type this in as a search >>>> What is a Tracking Cookie <<<<<.....it will tell you and give you more indepth details about what it is, what are they, and how they are used........

Source(s): PS: I normally get 200-300 tracking cookies a week on my pc...no big deal...i just delete them all with my Super anti-spyware.....

yeah it's best if you remove the cookies, I did and my computer's much faster. but the bad thing is you'll have to remember all your passwords for websites, but just log back in and click auto login.

to remove cookies, look on top and click tools, then internet options, where it says browsing history, delete all cookies is underneath. you can delete your browsing history too, but it only helps a little bit more.

If you're visiting a lot of different sites (even one time visits), then yeah, that isn't too unreasonable. Deleting them probably won't make much difference, but probably won't hurt either. You can probably change the settings for your internet browser to automatically delete cookies after a certain number of days to keep them limited, although how to do that varies with different browsers..

Open your internet browser, on the top right hand corner click tools. Open internet options, where it says 'browsing history' under the general tab click 'delete'. You should get a window showing you what you can delete. Cookies should be on there.
