I cannot install AVG8.5 and service paks .?

I want a good free to use and download virus protector I think AVG are working in with Microsoft to stuff up any one who shows as a possible not legal

Avast and avira are way better than AVG
I suggest you get a free anti spyware for your PC too. It add another protection layer to your PC which is not provided by normal anti virus. Download it here http://thecooltools.blogspot.com/2009/05/spyware-r...
