OMG! I just caught a Copperhead snake IN MY HOUSE!?

So my husband and I just caught this snake in our house and it was about 15-17 inches long, dark in color with the copperhead identifiers (we live in rural KY so this is a common snake in our area and easy to identify). Now we are worried that there might be another one inside We have two little ones and the snake was in the playroom. It is still springtime and we are having a hard time catching this last mouse that is taunting us, should we be worried about another on in the house?

I'm sure it was after the mouse, set some traps, plug up any holes where the mice are getting in, get rid of the mouse and you'll get rid of the snakes. I mean of course there's always a possibility that there are other snakes, I mean if one made it in so could another, but get rid of their food source and they won't be coming in. I'd do a thorough search of the house just to be sure. Good Luck!!!
