How does Type 2 affect daily life? We have so much to learn. We have to learn about carbs, which foods are good foods, which are bad foods, how each food affects us.
Diabetes affects a person life in major ways. We learn real quick how to count carbs, how to determine how much insulin we need, we learn how to inject ourselves, we have to learn to read our BG daily, and know what the different numbers mean, and when to worry or not to worry. We take care doing everything, as we don't heal as normal people do. What would be a minor injury, say a ingrown toenail, for a non-diabetic person, could turn into a major problem for a diabetic. We have to think before we act now. We have to consider the fact that we have diabetes and determine the risk factors of all activities before we do them. (some just are not worth the risk to us). We have to pay attention to our bodies, learn to know the danger signs of our blood sugar being either too high or too low. Having diabetes affects our life in everything we do, that is the long and short of this disease.
Now on the plus side I will say this: I now eat healthier, exercise, and am in better shape then I have been in years, and it is because of diabetes. If I didn't have diabetes, I would still be doing/eating everything I wanted, when I wanted. Getting diabetes has probably given me the chance for a longer life. We are lucky that this is a disease that we CAN control (type 2's only), and it doesn't have to be the end of the world for us. It is up to each diabetic to determine how they are affected, and to control their diabetes.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

How it affects daily life depends - if someone with Type 2 ignores it and makes no changes in daily life they may have changes forced onto them as the disease progress and they have complications, including some pretty significant changes like blindness, amputation, death. If they make small changes now, which may include taking medication, eating more veggies and less junk food, losing some weight, exercise there may be no negative changes in daily life. For me it means limiting the carbs I eat since I feel a lot better and am able to lose weight (which I've really wanted to do for ages).

Type 2 diabetes, usually referred to as adult onset, is when your body produces insulin but can not use it properly. This type can be treated successfully with the right diet and exercise in most circumstances. Read here https://tr.im/m1P3q
If blood sugars are not kept under control at some point insulin will probably be integrated / oral medications are also available. People with diabetes can live long, happy lives but must be diligent in their care and make sure you see your endocrinologist on a regular basis.

It affects my life because I love to eat. So I have to run everything through my head all the time about food. I also have neuropathy and my feet keep me reminded of diabetes all the time. So I take Tramadol for the pain and then I AM OK. It is a terrible disease. And costly. Also if type 2, get in control . Then don't listen to the ones that tell you to test often. If you stay in a normal range don't test. If your hba1c is under 6 you don't need to test very often. Thats the way the strip manufacturers keep you hooked on testing.. I hate willford Brimley and his ads.
I also use the mendosa glycemic index to prepare my meals.Make my life much more less complicated. http://www.mendosa.com/gilists.htm
And I Nordic walk to keep my sugar in check..It uses 46% more energy than just plain walking.
Good question. You get a star...>
