HAHA are you kidding me, mp's will never ever get prosecuted, we need to take to the streets of westminster and ask for their heads on a plate, and by the way, how do so many of these laws that will allow mp's to take us for everything they can , ever get passed, and the worst thing is that, its all sides of the government that screwed us, if it was the incumbent, maybe the opposition could have ripped into them, but now there is no one that is able to get the mp's prosecuted because even if there are different parties,
they're all watching eachothers back making sure no one gets caught
EDIT:
David cameron has called for the arrest and prosecution of lying and thieving MP's and has vowed to support the police, which is more than can be said for our prime minister

What no one seems to grasp is that this all about an allowance and not expenses. It was an allowance given to M.P.s many years ago as a sort of sop because they couldn't have a 16% pay rise. I remember this happening and the papers, including the Telegraph, which I have now stopped buying, were aware of the situation.Up until about 2005 the politicians were told effectively, this is your salary and this allowance is also you pot. The allowance and salary were lumped together by judges during divorce proceedings.
They have mainly done nothing wrong other than a bit of creative accounting to get what was perceived as their due.
Clearly they cannot get redundancy payments as the job is still in being.
Under the circumstances, anyone would have done pretty much the same..we are all just a bit too politically correct these days.
That said, those who committed fraud should be charged and I personally will be voting B.N.P. next week.

No - none of them will be charged with anything. The police have decided (TV News) after looking into the 'scandal' there's no case for them to answer and its (wait for this) - its 'not in the public interest to continue with this inquiry' can you believe that - 'not in the public interest' - they must be joking.
Someone has told the police 'to let it go' - I wonder who - Brown - Cammeron ? The decisions made about all this are a 'complete farce' - do they really think we are going to bother voting them all in again........they must be dreaming !!
The best part of all this - is 'none of them have resigned straight away' - only said they 'won't stand for re-election' which means the 'still have 12mths left' to carry on claiming there fiddles.............it really is a 'sick joke'.

We have to wait and see after the police investigate.
What bothers me is all this paying back the tax man. Will they be in tax credit next year so will they have to pay less??
Also those who are deselected or resign their office will get a nice payoff.
How about that for a bit of scamming!!

The appalling truth is that most of them were already extremely wealthy and they didn't even need the money. They will be in a position to hire the best lawyers to defend them if they even get charged with anything.

law makers are law breakers/brakers. Long arms of law do not reach law makers
