DURABLE toys for my Bulldog?
My Bulldog kills every toy imaginable, it's almost as if the point of the toy is to see how long it lasts. I would like to find a toy for him that will last longer than 10 minutes. Don't even bother telling me about Kongs, I have spent over $50 on them and trust me, they are not indestructible!! My Pit is better with toys, but he is still a pup so I imagine he will eventually need a real indestructible toy in a few months.
Thank you for answers OTHER than the Kong. I have never tried the thigh or knuckle bones before. Do they stink after they have gotten "moist?" My dog is a drool machine!
My dog is 7, so hopefully he is done teething by now!! I have a feeling he likes to "kill" things because he lived in a house full of bachelors for the first 4 years of his life. I am sure they got a kick out of watching him tear the crap out of things, so I am almost positive that this is where his behavior stems from.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR ANSWERS GUYS!!

I have 4 Bulldogs currently (two passed ), and there is no durable toy in the pet store that they will not tear up if you've already tried the Kong. All mine destroy toys in a matter of hours, what I have found they play with forever is empty two liter bottles and basketballs

Ha. Well avoid the stuffies then...
Try a child's toy with no small pieces to pull of. Like an old Tellie tubbies doll.
Here's a list of great dog toys that are "indestructible"

Well, this isn't a toy, but it works for my dog. I have an Airedale that is a very large dog. I bought her a big thigh bone. It's hard enough that she can't chew it like a cracker. It solves her chewing needs. I'm assuming that what your dog does is chew the toy, not necessarily play with it. If you get a bone that is specifically for dogs, it won't splinter. Smaller animal bones like chicken bones can splinter and get stuck in their throat. But other large bones won't.

The Galileo bone, made by Nylabone. Mine has been through several Dobes and a Bulldog. This thing will outlast the life of any dog! Speaking of Kongs, have you bought the black one?

Its not a toy, but at your local butcher shop, they sell cow knuckles for dogs. Its a big, raw, cow knuckle, with meat attached, and will keep your dog not only occupied for months, but will clean its teeth too. Ive gotten these for my dogs for years, and each bone lasts for months at a time.
No they dont stink from my experience.

Probably teething so will be chewing on everything in sight.
Raw hide teething bones, hind-quarter bones. shoulder bones, leg joint knuckle bones. some of the things I can think of.

i suggest nylabones they make many different sizes and shapes and are indestructible way tougher than a KONG be sure to get the appropriate size for your dogs i usually keep a few different ones around for my dogs
and please stay away from rawhide small pieces can come loose and cause all kind of problems for dogs

here's a great brand. it KONG
its made for all size dogs
the stonger the dog, the stronger the toy
VERY DURABLE!
you can also buy the filling for it. this motivates the dog to chew
