Starry Eyed

I authorized my ipod on the itunes on my mom's computer. Checked a website out online to make sure that I didn't mess anything up and it told me to hit shift while opening itunes (did this so I can separate my stuff from hers). Now I can't find her library at all. Someone please help!! She had a ton of stuff and I don't want to find out I deleted it all.

Also, I followed more directions to get my music from my ipod to the itunes. Everything worked, but it won't let me add the folder to the library.

I need help! Please and thanks in advance!!

I work for a small business and it seems they have run out of money. Today is pay day and we are told we MAY get paid next week. What can I do?! Can I tell my employer that I will not return to work (next week) until I am paid for my work already completed?

My Bulldog kills every toy imaginable, it's almost as if the point of the toy is to see how long it lasts. I would like to find a toy for him that will last longer than 10 minutes. Don't even bother telling me about Kongs, I have spent over $50 on them and trust me, they are not indestructible!! My Pit is better with toys, but he is still a pup so I imagine he will eventually need a real indestructible toy in a few months.

We have a 5 gallon water jug, it just doesn't fit into the chuck box. Are there any items that I am missing? Any suggestions to what else to add??

I just had the VR3 VRVD630 installed in my Trail Blazer. Everything works, BUT I cannot for the life of me get my iPod to work on it. I am using the USB that came with the iPod, I followed the instructions in the manual (http://sewelldirect.com/download/drivers/SW-8252.p... and it still won't work. Following the directions, I plugged in the USB, pressed the band/play button and it just says waiting. It will say waiting for a few minutes and then changes to the CD that is in the player. What am I doing wrong?! The only reason I got this stereo was because I could hook my iPod up to it. Why isn't it working?! Help!

It says that it will only play all MP3s OR MP4s, shouldn't my iPod (and all the music on it) be in the MP3 format anyway?

I married into a family whose siblings are all very close. My husband has two older brothers and a younger sister who is a year younger than I am. My sister in law is one of my favorite people in the world, she and I have become true sisters. It is a rare day when my husband and his brothers do not see each other or talk to each other. I am totally fine with this as I love both those guys like my own brothers. The thing is, I can't handle one of the brother's wife anymore and don't know what to do about it. I have held my tongue every time she has said something to offend or hurt me. Example: You have to let ME have kids first so MY kid's don't wear YOUR kid's hand me downs. I am totally over holding my tongue as this goes against my personal morals. I recently invited them all over for a BBQ at my house, she is the only one who didn't offer to bring anything. I told them that I had several bottles of wine, but if they wanted anything else to drink that they had to bring it. They brought beer, drank the beer I bought for MY husband and then took the rest of their beer home. She also drank a whole bottle of vodka that I did not offer to anyone, it was even hidden in the freezer. I spent over $150 on food and drinks and they didn't even THANK me. I have had her and her husband over for dinner once, they didn't offer to bring anything (am I wrong in thinking that is totally rude?) and didn't even thank me by the end of the evening. They, well she, has not been invited to dinner since. The thing is, we all hang out in the same crowd so it is tough to do things without her. This chick has cheated on my brother in law with one of his best friends and he still took her back. She recently told a stranger, who asked how long they had been married, that they have been married for "too long." I am convinced that they will not be married in 10 years as he will eventually see that she is no good for him (please God, I hope!). So, what do I do, until he leaves her sorry ***, in the mean time? I am Irish and have a pretty hot and quick temper, should I just lay into her next time she says something? She has a tendency to do and say things without actually thinking of them first (i.e. sending MY husband's phone a sexy picture of her to show HER husband). She knows this and this is always her excuse, yet she doesn't do anything to change herself. The only thing I am worried about is my relationship with my husband's family if I do say something. I love everyone dearly, except for her. What to do, what to do?!

Oh, by the way, my younger sister in law is in complete agreement with me and is ready for her to exit the family. Everyone else just brushes what she says/does off and this drives me crazy. No one will make her hold herself accountable for anything.

I have a friend who was just diagnosed (AGAIN!) with cervical cancer. She is a self employed hair stylist so she and her husband have run into some financial problems since she is going through chemo and cannot work. My in-laws and I would like to send her a get well card and help them out financially. Is it tacky to send a get well card with cash in it? Would it be "less tacky" to get them a gift card for a grocery store? Any other ideas are greatly appreciated!!

I have been wanting a Pit Bull for a while now and just adopted a pure bred from the Humane Society. My little guy is already neutered and has his shots. Is there anything else I should know as a new Pit owner?

I have an English Bulldog also, for what it is worth, and they are getting along great.

What happened to him? The water tested normal, the other fish are fine. I noticed that all of a sudden his eyes were clouded over and he was sitting on the bottom of the tank. He was one of the bigger fish and never got picked on by the others. Woke up the next day and he was dead. He was a dwarf guarami if that helps. Thanks in advance!

I noticed my guppy has gotten huge in the past couple of days. All of his scales are sticking out and he really looks like he is about to explode. What's up with him? I only have a few male guppies, no pregnancies!!

A little history: As a kid, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, had my colon removed 4 years later. When I turned 18, I started getting these hives. These aren't just normal hives, they are giant hives. The thing is, I am not allergic to anything. When they first started I went to the doctor about 20 times, and they pretty much told me that they had no idea what they are. One doctor told me they were giant hives. No medication works, benadryl, allegra, claritin, ect...

I get these hives pretty much every day. Sometimes I can go a couple of months without them though. When I first started getting them they were absolutely HUGE, I would have a little pink dot and then hours later it would cover my entire stomach and half my back. Nowadays, they vary in size, some are itty bitty and some just get so freaking big. I get them when I pluck my eyebrows (two hours later my eyes are swollen shut), I get them around my ankles from some shoes, but then I just get random ones on my stomach, back, legs, ears, inside my ears, face, butt cheeks, fingers, toes, bottoms of my feet, anywhere and everywhere. They tend to last for 24 hours and depending on how big they are, they leave me with nasty bruises. I think my body just hates me. Does anyone else have experience with these hives?

Okay, I have the big ones...the Beatles, the Who, Boston, Journey, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Guns 'N Roses (borderline classic), Heart, Skynyrd.. what else am I missing?? I am going to go through my in-law's collection of albums this weekend, but what are your thoughts? Thanks!!

My husband surprised me with a stainless steel fridge last night. The guy that sold it to him told him that it was about a year old. He got it home and it was filled with a bunch of medical random stuff. All that is going to be donated to my church, but the fridge stinks. Not a smell like something died or rotted in it, just a musky, been sitting in the garage for a year smell. I already took everything out of it and cleaned it really well as well as wiping everything else inside down with an antibacterial/bleach cleaner. Is there anything else I can do to make the fridge smell better? I already have some baking soda in there..

I need to add some salt to my freshwater aquarium. The pet stores that I have been to do not sell anything to put it in. I would rather not have a random plastic cup full of salt in my aquarium. Please no dumb answers, and YES you should add salt to freshwater aquariums.
