Will we go to war with North Korea?

No, its not very likely.

The US just cannot do it, it's military is too stretched as it is and NK would require a huge operation.

we already went to war with them. The U.N. will do nothing, and the U.S. will provide them incentives which will slow them down but not stop them. If the time ever comes when North Korea poses a sure threat to the United States we will bomb them, but i don't think that will happen. At the least, it's not inevitable, as some people say. Hopefully leaders in the east will grow wise enough over time to realize how useless an absolute tool of destruction such as a nuclear ICBM is.

We have seen this before, although not as INTENSE, but all the same we have seen it.(2000 and 2006) But there are things that may be worse then going to war with them. What they may be doing is getting word out that they have Nuclear weapons and the means to use the weapons via missiles both short range and ballistic!! The want the world to see to possibly sell these on the black market as the country is starving and poor due to sanctions by the UN since the Korean war!!

If your worried about going to war with the Country that has the "million man army"

don't.

They don't have the resources to fight both South Korea and the U.S. and if they even use one nuclear weapon. The world will come crashing down on them. Canada, Russia, Great Britain all those countries will go to war with them if they use a nuclear weapon meaning good bye North Korea...our biggest worry should be what are we going to do about all the hungry people of North Korea once its over. Even though won't happen

I friggin hope we do, i want to see a few nukes land in north korea... everyone is so nancy pancy about nuclear wars these days, let them have it

they don't have the capability of sending a nuke over the pacific ocean, so if we nuke the main targets in north korea (surely we could look in from sattelites and find out exactly where these possible missiles are)... we could hit the button and south korea or japan won't get hurt

I think there is a good possibility. Though I also think that since other countries are not supporting north korea they might eventually end up in a position that they have to give up their missiles in order to receive their medical supplies and food. I think we should control them by means other than violence. Sometimes the more subtle ways of control are more effective.

Can we put a moritorium on the question "will we go to war with North Korea" or "when will we go to war" or any variation of the above.

I mean honestly people, 5 days of this question about every 5 minutes are enough.

we never stopped being at war with korea, we just sat on the DMZ for 5 decades...

but the US never officaly declared war...

in the end i think its likely that there will be some sort of UN "intervention" led by the US in North Korea.

after the troops get out of Iraq theyll have to go somewhere else...

i think that the time is now OR never.. they keep say sanctions but Christ, NK are not worried at all. i think it is time to realize that they have never been bothered and i do believe that due to NK's president being ill he his going for the goal he has promised his County for years. the U.S is fighting wars on all fronts and have never and will never be weaker in money and relationships with the World.

i don't think they should back down though they have us (uk) to help and i would say go for it now OR leave them to do what ever they bloody want, but stop these silly little talks to each other because NK is not listening.

No, we won't, because war with North Korea means war with China, and that would be bad news.
