Any tips? I'm new at digital painting... ah, its different XD

Used GIMP and a tablet.

do you see anything that needs changing??? any little thing? Even if it might not need it, but could look better if I did so?

Well im not an expert on digital painting, but in my experience the best way to make any image look better is to get a good reference image and then critically look at how your image compares... Especially with the tones in your picture and how they blend.

For example, the hair could have more highlights (where the original looks white) and the make-up under the eyes could blend more...

So i think your biggest issue is experimenting with different brush styles... play around with the brush's opacity, texture, softness and size... Also black lines around any image makes it look cartoony (dunno if you were going for that look).

All in all a great picture! just keep playing around and experience will turn you into a veteran :D Enjoy

Hey! Its actually really good! I like it alot, even if I'm not such a fan of your subject..No offence or anything!! Um, the only constructive critisism I could possibly give is maybe try to get away from the harsh lines and go for something more realistic, more shadows. But I really like the way you redid it, good job!

    Yum! Homemade?
