Is there any place to get The Sims for free?
Off the internet preferably. Its for a mac.
The sims 2 would be even better but the original is fine.
I bought the game years ago, except now i lost one of the discs and I dont want to rebuy it.

Not legally, no. Hey, why not actually support Maxis by actually BUYING the game (it's freaking $20, that's pretty cheap for a game) so they can use the money for future great games. >_>

the sims 1 has all but died out. didn't even know it came out for the mac. never had to try to find any program for the mac.....
the sims 1 is probably dirt cheap off of things like ebay and other places that sell stuff. if not (due lack of suppy) then the sims 2 will be pretty cheap (or as cheap as it will get) here soon since the sims 3 should be coming out soon.

Torrents or sharing sites like megaupload or rapidshare. Just google The Sims and put either of the three mentioned after.

It's probably best to either re-buy it or live without it. Things off downloaded off the internet illegally could send viruses into your computer.
