People often ask if the glass is half full or half empty. How come?

no one ever seems to care what's in the glass?

    im not even goin near the glass. it has a hair in it.

    It is said to determine if you are an optimist or pessimist. Half full would be like saying well it's almost full (optimist). Half empty would be like saying well it's almost gone (pessimist).

    Yeah, I wonder what is in the glass...

    Well woody allen does in the movie "Scoop".

    He says the glass is half full.. of poison.
