Eminent domain for a memorial?

I know this is not the correct section, but more traffic comes through here....

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/05/29/flight.disp...

The area in Pennsylvania where flight 93 crashed is being designated for a memorial. The 2,200 acres "needed" for the memorial will encroach on privately owned land. Should the government be allowed to use eminent domain (government can seize privately owned property to convert it to public use after paying the owner fair market value)?

The plane is like 200 feet ling not 2200 acres .. If anyone comes and steals your land the fact that someone else says it's legal is just evidence that they also deserve to be killed by you .. in the old days they called it .......WAR .. someone always has a good reason for stealing someone elses sh##t . the golden rule shows the truth .. no one likes a thief .. the gov. .../ local gov. pulled that crap on us they threw out 10% of their most needy lowest income and robbed them ..WHY? because eminent domain allowed them to increase taxable property by building better houses on the land 600 people out of a city of 6000 hit the curb without being paid a dime .. the gov hasn't done a thing correctly in 3000 years .

Aren't these the folks who paid 8000 dollars for a toilet seat//??

Heres how u do it .. put a road to the site build a pole barn / covered picnic shelter ..have a stone and a piece of bronze with an explanation of the events .. total of 4 acres

    Oh hell no.

That's sad that those ppl lost there lives (on 9/11), but a 2,200 acre memorial & *stealing land to do it? That's just wrong!

*I know they pay em', but they force them to sell it & that's wrong.

Happens all the time with roads and hwys....if it were my land though, in this instance I would let it go without thought.

Who would want to own such a piece of property now?

Eminent area is theft. undeniable and straightforward theft. What a shame. It makes me ill to think of they could thieve someones land to make a park. i will bypass to just to piss on what the government has stolen.

I think they should give them a plaque.
