Collegiate Convertible Post Graduate Dressage Saddle? Opinions?
Does anyone have any opinions on the Collegiate Convertible Post Graduate Dressage Saddle? I think I may have ridden in one before but I'm not sure (I loved the saddle I was in).
Thanks

A girl at the barn I teach at just purchased one of these and it appears to be a pretty decent buy especially for the price. The adjustable gullet is useful if you ride many horses or have a young horse or one that you expect to muscle up quite a bit as it does have the capability to grow a bit with them. The seat is deep, but the pommel isn't super high so it's not an entirely closed in feeling like some of the deeper seated dressage saddles. The stitching on hers is immaculate and the leather is of good quality, it's not top of the line butter soft, but is still soft and durable. My opinion is that if it fits you and your horse than it's a good buy. Dressage saddles can be difficult to fit as the knee and thigh blocks and stirrup bar placement can vary so much between the different brands and styles but if it puts you in the correct position than that is the biggest hurdle accomplished.
