I NEED HELP..what to wear? (pts!!)?

Question

ok next year i'm going to a school with a VERY strict dress code. girls have to wear either skirts, dresses, or pants without rivets(the little metal things on jeans) with cardigans and tops that are not t-shirts...

which stored should i shop at? and what sort of stuff should i buy? i'm 5'6 and weigh 112 lbs... how do i not look bulky in clothing like this?

If you're looking for formal-ish clothing that still have some good patterns and interesting designs, I recommend Fashion Bug.

It's not too expensive, either, and they have a wide variety of different things. :)

you should buy cute skirts that you feel comfortable in that will also match with many shirts. the best idea with a dress code like this (which is what i have at my school) is to really think more about your tops. for pants you should probably get just black grey, khaki, or other neutral colored dress pants. there are actually some really cute ones! I would say to look for cute shirts that really express your style. if you are more preppy, look at aeropostale, american eagle, and maybe polo or j. crew. if you have more of a funky style then forever 21, H&M and - maybe charlotte russe have good tops for you. find a few stores that really match your style. the only thing about charlotte russe is the clothing is kinda cheap... i would also suggest checking out a thrift store if you have any good ones in the area... sometimes you get lucky and go home with some really cute stuff! good luck! =]

Sorry about your stinky dress code. I thought ours was bad cause we couldn't wear short skirts or shirts or tank tops. I hope I could help. I would check forever 21, MAXrave, and I'd also look at department stores, Macy's and Dillards.
