what do you think of my poem about my life?

I’m hurting on the inside

But these feelings I have to abide

I’ll get by, I always do

But still you don’t have a clue

How you damaged me deep within

I don’t know where you’ve been

You said goodbye long ago

Left me depressed and alone

Can’t go back to that day

In my head it still plays

Now you’re gone from my life

Took your child and your wife

Run away far from here

Get away from all the fear

Cuz you know what you did was wrong

But somehow you still went along

I take the blame for what you did

Even though I was young, just a kid

Now I’m older, I’ve come to appreciate

Because with this I have gained a trait

Strength is what I’ve gotten from this

Obtained a whole new type of bliss

I have people on my side

With them I confide

They taught me how to love and learn

From this mistake I didn’t burn

My soul is still strong and well

Even after all this hell

I got through this somehow

It’s you I feel sorry for now

Cuz you have to live with the guilt

It’s by you it was built

I have my life reversed

Now you’re left cursed.
