Is abortion mentioned in the bible?

What do think this statement can be interpreted as?

you shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk

It might talk about what foods you can eat, but can't it also be used in the same context as abortions?

We see from the above that the life of the unborn has value equal to that of a grown man.

No. That's the dietary rules not abortion.

There is no direct mention but some inferences that the bible thumpers ike to stick to a prohibition.

My guess, after a long time reading the bible, is that the reason there is no mention is simple: those old mustache petes who wrote the silly thing didn't think of it. It was technically infeasible for them.

In the same way, Muhammad didn't forbid coffee (he never found any) and the bible doesn't also mention personal computers. These were all outside the sphere of the all knowing all seeing god of that time.

No, you can only interpret that statement for what it says, the bible also says " It is better to plant your seed in the belly of a whore then to spit it up on the ground". How would you interpret that statement?

thou shalt not murder. The kid that refers to is a baby lamb.
