Ladies, what is your opinion of a man who goes to a tanning salon?

Now I always thought I was open minded, but I found out that someone I was interested in goes to tanning salons. That actually turned me off, since it comes off as kinda prissy. I hate to use the word prissy, 'cause it sounds like I'm insulting the man, and I don't mean any kind of insult. However, tanning is prissier than me (who would never do it), and I have to be the prissier one in a relationship, even though I'm not that prissy.

What do you ladies think? And guys, what do you think of other guys who go to tanning salons?

I don't know what to think about this one.

On the one hand, I don't want to be all judgmental about it. On the other hand... tanning (of all kinds) is bad for the skin. And to do that in the name of vanity alone? I'm not sure I'd go for someone who goes to such lengths to cultivate a body that will be going to the grave one day.

    Like I read somewhere:

Someone died and they buried a coffin filled with a PERFECT, sculpted and ripped body. Not one little bit of cellulite or stretch marks anywhere. But no one knows the condition of the SOUL of the dead person.

If only there were beauty salons, gyms, and tanning salons for the SOUL...

    I think it's strange.

And I completely agree with you on the needing to be the more feminine in the relationship. Just guys and tanning beds don't seem like they should be together.

I hate that! Im comfortable enough with myself not to have to be tan, so why cant guys be the same way?!
