Rock Band 1 or 2 for father's day?
OK, I want your input on this :-) RB2 is more expensive but has the wireless instruments from what I gather. My husband is not really a gamer but tried RB at a friends place and liked it. I think the price differs by $ 50 so that´s no help, I don´t mind spending the extra if I´m getting extra features that are worth it.. so are they worth it? On the other hand I don´t want to spend almost $ 200 on a gift that won´t be used more than a day or so...
so any input is appreciated!!! Thanks!
lol.. yeah, no hating! no necklace for mother's day here, if you can read you´ll realize that I don´t mind spending the money.. now please real answers from now on!

You can buy one with the kit, and purchase the other game disc, by itself later. You can get the games without the actual kit for around 50 new. Get RB2, it has more options, then get the RB1 disc. You can find them used too at any blockbuster or game store for real cheap.

You should get rock band 2. It has a lot more features like the ability to creates your own character, Online downloadable song, and a wider range of songs. Rock band1 is alright but I personally think that Rock Band 2 is worth the extra money getting. The instruments are a lot quieter too so you shouldn't get a headache. lol And the Rock band 2 instruments are lot more durable. My Rock Band instruments all broke in a couple months. But my instruments for Rock Band2 are still working in great condition. And if you get Rock Band 2 it's compatible with the first game so it won't really matter about what game you want. :)

I don't own any RB games. But from playing them, I see that RB 2 is better.. But I would suggest getting Guitar Hero World Tour. Ya it is expensive, but it'll be worth it I think. Features: Wireless Drums & guitar, Microphone, you can create your own music from scratch with any instrument, let's say keyboard, and a HUGE song list. It will be worth the $180 if your husband loves classic songs from Van Halen and Ozzy andif he loves simply playing the drums or guitar!!! I hope I helped!!

Rock Band 2 - it has FAR more features, and online downloading compatabilities.
