0bama doubles oil price since Bush left office. Is he trying to end hopes for recovery with $4 gasoline?

the government wants higher gas. their agenda with owning GM is that we will all drive the same car. also the government gets a percentage of the price of gas with taxes. they make about 7 times what the oil company's make on a gallon of gas or diesel. you have to be either real nieve or real stupid to not see what is going on. tobacco taxes go up by 500% with no explenation. i don't smoke but that is just one thing that has gone up with taxes and what will continue to go up just for taxes. the less we have the more control they have. now that we are further and further in debt around the world geitner is going to different country's hoping they will buy our debt. no one wants it because we are simply printing money out of thin air because we have exhausted our credit line. the chinese students didn't laugh at him because he was telling jokes. c'mon read history this happened before in germany right before hitler came in and "saved" germany.

During Bush's administration he was blamed for the price of gas. But Obama will not be blamed. Truth is that presidents don't control the price of gas. OPEC and the demand for oil do. The Congress can impact the price of gas by raising taxes. The govt makes more on a gallon of gas than the "evil" oil companies.

Obama has little influence on the price of oil however the real influence in speculators which drive the prices up and Obama could impose regulations on speculators.

The oil prices are increasing because oil speculators are of the opinion that an economic recovery will push demand back up.
