    Comic Book Archive files mainly consist of a series of image files, typically PNG or JPEG files, compressed using one of several popular methods.

    CDisplay was the first application to support the CBR format.

    This is a renamed .RAR file and can be decompressed with any .RAR file utility. The CDisplay program displays the comic book images so it is useful to use for this particular .RAR archive type.
